SHAKTHI

SHAKTHI strives for women empowerment, has been formed with a great desire and determination of uniting the women force of Nellore for a creative movement to reach out to remote rural areas and establish bonds with the undeserved communities VLCT & RC is heralded in re-awakening the creative potential of women without succumbing to the western culture which is enforced on us as modern thoughts and urges the women to come out of their shells for the realization of self. We train the women to tackle her social challenges boldly, come forward and be a part of the new ‘era of women empowerment and nation building’.
      It acts as the womb for the social, cultural, economical and intellectual empowerment of women. SHAKTHI is based on Indian culture and upholds the sanctity of Indian woman hood. As such helping women to achieve economic independence by enabling them to have independent employment and income has been accorded the highest priority Promotion of Women’s Self-Help Groups (WSHGs) has therefore been adopted as a key strategy for achieving women’s empowerment and this applicable only through SHAKTHI
       We in SHAKTHI not only emphasis on all the above mentioned but also gives importance about women’s mental status. Various kinds of cultural activities are conducted in the house to extract and improve the abilities of each and every woman which are hidden in them.

SAPARYA

The burgeoning influences of the society have made people busy in their day to day scheduled work giving less importance for their age old parents and the geriatrics that need special care and touch of love. VLCT & RC has initiated a unique project called”RAVIVASANTHAM - the sevagram which caters all the needs of this dying old aged people through SAPARYA with care values

ATHMEYA

ATHMEYA goal is to rehabilitate vulnerable orphans and abandoned children, and gain the benefit of a complete balanced life like having access to education which is also their right. We believe education creates change; it empowers and enables them to build a brighter future and, give them the opportunity to succeed.
      VLCT & RC have come up with a unique and prestigious project “RAVIVASANTHAM”-the sevagram providing care for orphan children because, they are the future, they are vulnerable, and most importantly, because they are children and this is fulfilled by ATHMEYA: a HOME FOR ORPHANS.
      Our inherent responsibility to care for children and protect the future for our own children, it's plain to see that the orphan children of this world are something we simply cannot ignore VLCT & RC is a non-profit, social service voluntary organization working for an integrated development of children of vulnerable segment of the society having clear insight in the socio-economic and health issues faced by the downtrodden, under privileged and marginalized segments of the communities. And believes that all human beings are equal and has the right to have good health and proper standard of living and has touched new heights by Regular Activities to fulfill the mission of organization.

ALAMBANA

ALAMBANA is an exceptional care home offering 24 hour care and support to the aged people. The homes philosophy is to provide its residents with a standard care (including free medical care), in a safe, caring, warm and homely environment in creating a family of Hope, Love and Compassion there by enriching and encaring themselves along with the inmates of the home and transforming their feelings from useless to useful to the inmates of the sevagram, like becoming a grandfather for a orphan.
      Provide safe shelter to old age people so they can retain their peace and happiness. Shelter is a basic human right for people of all ages, but for older people, the sense of security and comfort that a home provides is particularly important.
      VLCT & RC particularly created ALAMBANA here we Understand the needs and capacities of older people to create Safety and fall prevention premises and Incorporate old age-friendly features in household such that they can Promote coordination, cooperation and sharing which enables and Ensure that older people participate in house activities as per their capacity.
       Inmate of the ALAMBANA are regularly infused with spiritual activities which makes them psychological and emotionally strong to face the circumstances. Yoga training is also provided for these old aged people to be fit and healthy and attain peace of mind such that they can participate in their day to day activities without any barriers and lesser dependency.

SANJEEVANI

"SANJEEVANI” state-of-the-art Multispecialty Hospital with 100 beds more emphasis is given on Patient – Doctor relationship & one to one interaction. SAMRAKSHANA

Located in Nellore District of ANDHRA PRADESH, VLCT & RC focused and dedicated to provide services to children with special needs through “SAMRAKSHNA”. In India, social stigma and poverty drive many families to abandon their mentally and physically challenged children. This is a serious issue and we, VLCT & RC seek to address it through “RAVIVASANTHAM”-the sevagram. A safe haven that would welcome and care for all mentally challenged and spastic children who were deserted by their families we believe that each child is unique and so are his or her needs. The care also, then, has to be personalized. To that end, we assign special educators to various children, based on their condition and abilities, and every month each child’s progress is individually assessed and evaluated with wide range of activities.
       VLCT & RC believes and also strives that Education is very much necessary for these misfortune children who are deprived of, hence education being part of our curriculum in SAMRAKSHANA, we strive to impart basic education for these children which helps them to reduce dependency and relay on maximum individuality.
       Most of the disabled children are found in the slums and weaker sections of the society where they cannot afford to have minimum appliances for their needs VLCT & RC has focused in this area and provided many number of aids and appliances like tricycles, hearing aids, bus passes etc. for the needy and poor by which some 1000’s have been benefited.
